Participating in an IODP Expedition or ICDP project is the experience of a lifetime, working as part of an integrated science party to recover, examine and unlock millennia of secrets hidden in cores.

Participate in Expedition 503!
IODP3 have opened a call for participation in Expedition 503, which aims to recover the whole trench-fill sequence from a basin in the central Japan Trench for dating and establishing event-stratigraphy for paleoseismologic interpretations. Co-Chief Scientists are Ken Ikehara and Michael Strasser.
Scientists from ANZIC’s member institutions are eligible to apply to participate.
Applications close January 31.
